Finca Santa Elena Pacamara MicrolotDon Fernando Lima separated his Pacamara variety coffees for us, giving us a glimpse of the spicy, savory, fruity character of this quintessentially Salvadoran variety.
Union el TriunfoThis represents our exciting first foray into partnering with the cooperative Union el Triunfo in Chiapas, Mexico, and we are excited to share their coffee with you. The cup is very balanced with notes of bittersweet cocoa and maple syrup.
Save Our Soil
Our soils are in crisis. Conventional, chemical-based farming is destroying soil health, leaving farms with increasingly barren earth.
Finca Nueva Armenia
The quality of craftsmanship from Recinos family's Finca Nueva Armenia – in Guatemala's Huehuetenango district – is evident in every cup clean, clear notes of green apple, grape, and almond above a crisp acidity and juicy body.
Enjoy two 12 oz bags of our seasonal farmhouse blend delivered directly to you or a loved each month for three or six months.
Back from the Road: El Salvador
Our Head Roaster Tim Hill recently returned from a visit with Central American producer partners. Tim's focus for this trip on development projects at origin is part of our ongoing effort to work with partnering farmers to continue to improve their already incredible quality.
In his trip report, Tim shares an account of his visit with coffee superstar Aida Batlle and her Finca Mauritania operation in Santa Ana, El Salvador, tasting new harvest lots, and visiting the nearby farm on which this year's Los Luchadores, our El Salvadoran Pacamara selection, was grown.
For the whole story, please read Tim's post in our Origins section.
