Finca Nueva Armenia
The quality of craftsmanship from Recinos family's Finca Nueva Armenia – in Guatemala's Huehuetenango district – is evident in every cup clean, clear notes of green apple, grape, and almond above a crisp acidity and juicy body.
Save Our Soil
Our soils are in crisis. Conventional, chemical-based farming is destroying soil health, leaving farms with increasingly barren earth.
Finca El Puente
This harvest of Finca El Puente from Marcala, Honduras, brings lighter purple-lavender and plum notes, black cherry, sugar cane sweetness and toasted nut in the finish.
Enjoy two 12 oz bags of our seasonal farmhouse blend delivered directly to you or a loved each month for three or six months.
From the Road: Ethiopia 2009, Part 110-30-09
Counter Culture's Director of Coffee and co-owner Peter Giuliano recently completed a combined coffee-buying and diplomatic to Ethiopia with a delegation from the Specialty Coffee Association of America—for which he is Vice President—and its sister organizations in Europe and Asia to attend a conference hosted by the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange to introduce and discuss work with the Ethiopian coffee sector.
About 150 Ethiopian coffee exporters, farmers, traders, and policymakers gathered in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa for this important conference, which was widely covered by the country's national newspapers and television networks.
