Finca Santa Elena Pacamara MicrolotDon Fernando Lima separated his Pacamara variety coffees for us, giving us a glimpse of the spicy, savory, fruity character of this quintessentially Salvadoran variety.
Union el TriunfoThis represents our exciting first foray into partnering with the cooperative Union el Triunfo in Chiapas, Mexico, and we are excited to share their coffee with you. The cup is very balanced with notes of bittersweet cocoa and maple syrup.
Save Our Soil
Our soils are in crisis. Conventional, chemical-based farming is destroying soil health, leaving farms with increasingly barren earth.
Finca Nueva Armenia
The quality of craftsmanship from Recinos family's Finca Nueva Armenia – in Guatemala's Huehuetenango district – is evident in every cup clean, clear notes of green apple, grape, and almond above a crisp acidity and juicy body.
Enjoy two 12 oz bags of our seasonal farmhouse blend delivered directly to you or a loved each month for three or six months.
Head Roaster Tim Hill's Trip Report from Popayan, Colombia, in June 2008!
Counter Culture Coffee's head roaster Tim Hill recently collected his notes from his trip to Popayan, Colombia, back in June 2008 ... just in time, too, because the 2008/2009 harvest lot of La Golondrina recently arrived in our warehouse!
In June 2008, Tim visited Virmax, our friends and partners who been instrumental to our relation-building efforts in Popayan, Colombia. During his trip, Tim toured coffee farms, met with farmers, and cupped the coffees that were to comprise the delicious new harvest lot of La Golondrina.
