Back from the Road: Idido Misty Valley, Shall We Meet Again?

After spending 4 days in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the Direct Specialty Trade auction, Head Roaster Tim Hill spent time with producer Abdullah Bagersh at his office in Addis Ababa, and then made his down to Abdullah's famous mills in Yirgacheffe.

In this report, Tim recounts his conversations with Abdullah about the changes in coffee laws in Ethiopia and the impact of those changes on how we buy coffee. Tim also enthusiastically recalls travelling to the Idido and Beloya mills near Yirgacheffe.
