Back from the Road, Part 1: Papua New Guinea, Baroida

Buyer & Quality Manager Tim Hill made his first trip to Papua New Guinea a few weeks back. On his journey halfway around the world, Tim visited the Colbran family and their farm Baroida, as well as their coffee-producing projects, Tairora and Lamari, and toured the incredible expanse that is the Eastern Highlands.

In a photo narrative on Flickr, Tim documents the Colbran's production process and shares his insight into Baroida – the coffee that changed his opinion (for the better) on the state of coffees from Papua New Guinea – and the dedicated people who produce it. Stay tuned for Part Two: the Western Highlands.

Best,
Nathan
