Decaf Las Milpas: Morning, Noon, or Night
Southern Mexico is one of those fantastic coffee origins: a cradle of agriculture that is the ancient home of both chocolate and corn. Our project there – named Las Milpas after the traditional cornfields of the area – sources coffee in cooperation with the producers of the Chiapas Mountains Cooperative, a group of small, organic, indigenous farmers. Our collaboration gives us access to a number of special coffees – including a lot we source especially for decaffeination via an all-natural, organic decaffeination process. The result is delicious and accessible – notes of chocolate and nut make this an extraordinary coffee by any measure, decaf or not.
We take as much pride in this direct-sourced decaf coffee as anything we roast, and it stands head and shoulders above any other decaffeinated coffee available. It's universal appeal makes Decaf las Milpas beloved by pretty much everyone, morning, noon, or night.
