In 2016, our partners on the ground in the town of Cariamanga, Ecuador, established a new sourcing hub for small, independent producers. With the new system, we are seeing improved quality and transparency—and we look forward to how our Ecuadorian coffees evolve in the future. With notes of nougat, cherry, and citrus, this particular lot showcases the balanced, sweet-and-clean profile we love from southern Ecuador.

This coffee is from the very first harvest year for the new setup in Cariamanga. Caravela our export partners have been working on getting this setup for years. This particular lot comes from 12 farmers in the towns of Las Chinchas, Carmelo, and Velacruz.
