Coffee-buyer's agent Hanna Popish is one of the driving voices of reason and research in Counter Culture's coffee department: By helping Kim Elena and Tim conduct research and collect data from our producing partners, she's able to help Counter Culture develop better relationships and innovate our buying programs to create a sustainable chain of high-quality coffee. She has done specific work with producers to evaluate their experiences within our microlot program, and has conducted extensive studies on the project's impact on grower groups in Peru, Nicaragua, and Colombia, among others.

Back at home, Hannah can be found hanging out in Carrboro, NC. Ask Hannah about what she's knitting lately, or for advice on edible plants for your window box. Go ahead—ask her!
