Jesse is not only the tallest member of Team Counter Culture New York (helpful when there’s a need to pull Chemexes down from the training center’s high shelves), but he also brings a wealth of coffee program and retail management experience from his years working on product and cafe development for Starbucks in Seattle. Jesse was one of the driving forces not only behind that company’s acquisition and implementation of Clover brewing machines, but also in the development of their concept stores, such as 15th Ave Coffee & Tea. As a member of the regional sales team for New York and Boston, he is the first person our new wholesale customers meet as they start their relationship with Counter Culture – so you know he’s a nice guy.

He and a ragtag collection of roommates cohabitate in Park Slope, where Jesse is perpetually in search of a quiet corner to sit with the stack of New Yorkers he’s trying in vain to catch up on.
