Kyle Tush is actually from Delaware (it's a real place, y'all). After gaining experience in the roles of barista, trainer, and restaurant coffee director throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Kyle accepted an apprenticeship with the exacting and erudite roasting team at CCC (pushing pounds, y'all). Just under his two year mark with the company, a position opened up with the Coffee Department that was too good to pass up. Currently, Kyle is the East Coast Quality Analyst meaning he spends his days puzzling over, sample roasting, cupping, and staring (very closely, y'all) at green coffee—hoping to unlock its delicious potential. Since moving to Durham, Kyle has developed a fondness for our local heroes, the Durham Bulls, and has mastered the usage of the Southern colloquialism, "y'all."
