Former Southeast Regional Barista Champion Lem Butler is more than just a Barista Magazine cover boy: Throughout his career in specialty coffee, Lem has inspired countless other baristas and coffee-driven people with his professionalism and poise, both on stage in competition and in front of a classroom full of eager students. But probably the most important person he’s brought into the fold of delicious coffee is his wife, Sarah, who’s now in charge of the couple’s morning Aeropresses.

When he’s not showing new baristas the secrets behind creating “sexyfoam” or traveling to exotic locals with Sarah (and her Aeropress), he can occasionally be found spinning reggaeton, hip-hop, and house tunes as DJ Pez – and you will want to dance when he does.
