The Cinco de Junio cooperative of Las Sabanas, Nicaragua, has been one of our strongest partnerships over the past six years. This year, growers worked especially hard on plant health to address challenges that negatively impacted quality in the past few years. Their hard work is showcased in this coffee, which we believe is one of the best they have ever produced. Notes of hazelnut, apple, and toffee. Learn more$15.50
This year, we focused on the La Voz cooperative in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, to produce a few great lots for our decaffeinated offerings. We decaffeinate this coffee using a natural organic water process in small batches that only last us a short time—which keeps this coffee very fresh and tasting its best. Look for sweet notes of chocolate-covered cherry, graham, and cashew. Learn more$16.25
Finca El Puente is a special coffee that is truly close to our hearts. We encountered it on our very first trip to Honduras, fell in love with it then, and have been head over heels ever since. Moisés Herrera and Marysabel Caballero—the couple who run the farm—have become like family, and this year they continued the tradition of refining an already-great coffee. This harvest of Finca El Puente brings plum notes and brown sugar sweetness with toasted nut in the finish. Learn more$16.50
The farms of growers contributing coffee to the La Voz cooperative are nestled among the volcanoes surrounding the breathtaking Lake Atitlán—easily one of the most beautiful places in the world. For a second year in a row, the well-managed co-op produced a coffee with notes of crisp red apple and light fruit tones complemented by a sweet, nutty finish.Learn more$15.75
