  1. Remera – Single-Origin Coffee from Rwanda

    Remera – 12 oz bag

We have worked with the family that owns the Remera washing station for a number of years. In that time, we have seen them innovate countless times. From planting dozens of coffee varieties to separating lots from small communities, each year they continue to impress us. It is no wonder that their coffee is delicious: medium-bodied with round, balanced notes of plum and nougat. Learn more
  2. Olke Birre – Single-Farmer Lot from Haru, Ethiopia

Olke Birre – 12 oz Box

    Haru Single-Farmer Lot
Down the road from the Haru Cooperative in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, Olke Birre owns and manages about 12-hectares of land. Olke was one of the first farmers in all of Yirgacheffe to build his own mini-washing station, which gave him the ability to completely control the processing of his coffee. With this control—and his dedication to producing the best coffee possible—Olke and his family have created a coffee that is simply elegant. Look for clear flavors of citrus, peach, and jasmine. 3. Nkurubuye – 12 oz bag

    Nkurubuye – 12 oz bag

    Nyamagabe, Rwanda
Nkurubuye is a small village in southern Rwanda working with the Remera washing station. Roughly 100 growers in Nkurubuye contributed coffee cherries for this lot. Coffee from growers was brought to the washing station, processed impeccably, and shade dried in an experimental system built this year by Sam Muhirwa—who manages all of the coffee at Remera. This unique approach resulted in a beautiful coffee with crisp notes of pear and apricot. Learn more
  4. Miju Sali – Natural Sundried – 12 oz box

Miju Sali – Natural Sundried – 12 oz box

    Single-Farmer Lot
A few years ago, we helped start a project in the community of Biloya to work with individual farmers to produce specially-prepared natural sundried coffees. Miju Sali and his family were among the first in the area to be a part of the project. Miju and his family improved almost every aspect of their coffee processing this year and produced a beautiful coffee with notes of blueberry and blackberry, accentuated by a nice bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. 8. Idido Natural Sundried - 12 oz Bag

Idido Natural Sundried - 12 oz Bag

A decade ago, an experimental natural-processed coffee from the area surrounding the Idido village changed what we—and much of the coffee industry—have come to expect from Yirgacheffe and natural coffees in general. Ripe cherry selection, a focus on sorting, and better drying techniques have time and time again made natural sundried coffees from the Idido Cooperative our favorite—showcasing notes of strawberry, dried fruit, and bittersweet chocolate.
