We chose Counter Culture Coffee because they value relationships and education nearly as much as they value fine, delicious coffee. Counter Culture is not out to land an account and sell beans, they want to work with our team to constantly educate and figure out the best and most-delicious way to serve our guests. And that’s cool. Great coffee is a rule to the game, but not a strategy for winning. Counter Culture’s strategy is relationships and education.
I like that Counter Culture Coffee gets hospitality. More than get it, they actually revel in creating it. The two baristas I sent to the North Carolina headquarters came home raving about how embraced they felt by the Counter Culture team. That’s just awesome, and it’s unusual.
Our guests expect that everything that is put in front of them is of the highest quality (both taste and social responsibility) possible. Counter Culture Coffee allows us to keep that promise. It supports what we want our brand to stand for.
