Jubala Village Coffee – Raleigh, NC
We work with Counter Culture Coffee because they are passionate about people. We consider them not just a business partner, but a friend. We care greatly about what our customers taste and experience with coffee at our shops, and that begins by working with coffee that has thoughtfully been sourced and roasted. By working closely with coffee producers and having a team of coffee professionals dedicated to making great tasting coffee, we believe that Counter Culture gives us the tools to make memorable coffee experiences.
Counter Culture Coffee has been a part of our growing company even before we first opened our doors six years ago. Their transparency with farmers and efforts to increase wages and working conditions were an instants attractions. They have been an integral part of our coffee education, and their incredible service and tech teams have only made our company better.
Counter Culture Coffee is more than just a roaster. The resources available to us as a retailer of their coffees allows us to become better coffee professionals. Every month we participate in a catalog cupping where we—alongside the roasters—cup all of the coffees that are being offered. Our baristas are also able to go through an in-depth training program at their Durham training center and participate in monthly professional development courses. By building strong relationships with other industry vendors, we also have access to purchasing the best equipment available allowing us to create a more-memorable coffee service for our customers.
