2024 Seeds Fund Recipient
Finca La Hermosa has been awarded a 2024 Seeds Grant to establish an on-site coffee sample roasting and cupping lab, reducing reliance on third-party analysis in Guatemala City. This initiative will significantly cut costs, improve efficiency, and shorten decision-making time. Additionally, it will provide training opportunities for the local team, enhance quality control, and strengthen La Hermosa’s position as a competitive, sustainable specialty coffee producer.
Seeds Program
Counter Culture Coffee collects $0.01 from every pound of coffee sold to fund our Seeds program. Annually, $1 per pound of our winter coffee blend, Iridescent, goes to further increase our contribution. Seeds offers financial grants to producers and producer organizations we work with to implement sustainability projects they identify as beneficial. To date, we’ve allocated over $450,000 to Seeds projects.
