“I have a super busy schedule but need good coffee, and I like to choose companies that ethically source ingredients. A friend told me about CCC's subscription, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Great coffee, great selections, convenient ordering experience, and I never run out.”

Coffees For This Week

01
Single-Origin | South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Buchiro – Natural Sundried
berry | blood orange | cocoa nibs
Roast Level
light roast
A vast majority of natural-processed coffee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo is produced with haste, leading to poor quality coffee and low prices for producers. The Muungano cooperative, always seeking to push their potential, has honed their skills to prepare some of the highest quality natural-sundried lots from this often overlooked origin. Staff at the Buchiro washing station select strictly ripe coffee cherries and employ methodical drying techniques to produce a coffee with notes of berry, blood orange, and cocoa nibs.

Subscriber-Exclusive | Chirinos, Peru
Damian Espinoza
chocolate | green grape | stone fruit
Roast Level
light roast
We were introduced to Damian Espinoza during our first year working with Origin Coffee Lab, a specialty exporter in Peru. Since then, we’ve purchased his coffee every year and had the privilege of visiting his farm in Chirinos numerous times. During those visits, Damian has been quiet and reserved, but his coffee clearly speaks for itself. After placing highly in the Cup of Excellence, he has continued to explore new varieties and processing techniques in pursuit of quality. This washed lot, however, exemplifies the consistent balance of fruit flavors and sweetness that have long made Damian’s coffees stand out on the cupping table. We taste notes of chocolate, green grape, and stone fruit.
