We purchased this coffee through Toldopamba, a quality-focused exporter in Nariño, Colombia, that we’ve worked with since 2016. Carlos Torres Burbano and Angela Patiño Findlay started Toldopamba Coffee to help smallholder coffee producers in Nariño improve the quality of their coffee, implement more sustainable agricultural practices, and access premium prices. We purchase larger volumes of high-quality regional blends to be used in our Year-Round products and offer premiums for higher-quality, community-specific, and single-farm lots like this coffee from Pablo Cordoba. Our purchasing relationship is made possible by the high level of traceability at Toldopamba, which has given us the ability to home in on some of the most exceptional producers in this area over time.
