Okoluu – Natural Sundried

dark chocolate | berry | floral

Roast Level

light roast

As ripe coffee cherries dry slowly in the sun and breeze, their fruit and floral complexities deepen, enriching each coffee seed. This exceptional natural-sundried coffee comes from a group of small farms in the village of Okoluu. Sookoo Coffee, a family-owned coffee business, works closely with these growers, implementing meticulous sorting and drying protocols to achieve stunning coffee. This year’s Okoluu holds layers of berry flavors in balance with dark chocolate sweetness and a delicate floral finish.

Intango

apricot | citrus | black tea

Roast Level

light roast

Intango traces its roots back to a USAID-funded initiative that transformed Rwanda’s coffee industry. The PEARL project invested at every stage of production, laying the foundation for Rwanda’s specialty coffee sector. Counter Culture engaged early, mentoring local professionals, including Gilbert Gatali, who later purchased one of the first PEARL-constructed washing stations and founded Intango. Gilbert believes in coffee's potential to transform lives, and his passion for coffee and the people behind it is inspiring to witness. We taste notes of apricot, citrus, and black tea—a classic Rwanda profile that keeps us coming back year after year.
