02
Single-Origin | Agaro, Ethiopia
Duromina
sweet tea | apricot | honeysuckle
Roast Level
light roast
The Duromina Cooperative emerged from a Technoserve project that transformed coffee production in Agaro, Ethiopia. Prior to the project, coffee in this area was considered low quality and sold for low prices. Training in quality practices and cooperative business administration coupled with strategic infrastructure investments resulted in high-quality coffee and enduring economic opportunities for farmers. Duromina’s success is reflected in their beautifully expressive coffee: sweet, tea-like, and perfumed with honeysuckle-like florals and stone fruit flavors.
