Counter Culture have partnered with food + bev industry pros TILIT on a super-limited collaborative apron, brought to life by dye artist Cara Marie Piazza of Calyx Studios.
Counter Culture Coffee x TILIT
We’re thrilled to share a collaboration between TILIT and Counter Culture Coffee, crafted to bring sustainability and artistry to your coffee ritual. While supplies last, Tilit is featuring the hand-dyed coffee apron in an exclusive set featuring a custom-made Jono Pandolfi mug, and a bag or Big Trouble in a custom bag celebrating the collaboration.
Coffee-Dyed Apron
Each apron is hand-dyed with coffee by Brooklyn-based dye artist Cara Marie Piazza, creating a one-of-a-kind work of art. The natural dyeing process, inspired by the idea of repurposing and reducing waste, results in unique hues that make every apron completely individual.
Crafted for Collaboration
Founded by Jenny Goodman and Alex McCrery, Tilit was born from a passion for creating functional, high-quality workwear that honors the hospitality industry. With nearly 18 years as a working chef, Alex recognized a need for uniforms that embodied the pride, artistry, and resilience of the kitchen. Since Tilit’s founding in 2012, Jenny and Alex have been dedicated to producing thoughtfully designed, rigorously tested workwear that celebrates the craft of culinary professionals.
Similarly, Counter Culture Coffee, has a legacy of sustainability rooted in its supply chain. Founder Brett Smith recognizes the importance of aligning environmental, social, and economic responsibility in the coffee supply chain. This commitment inspired Counter Culture’s “triple-bottom-line” approach to sustainability, which continues to guide the company’s impact on both the coffee industry and the environment.
